In 1994, Ra Lamotta Heatley and David Heatley got together in Jersey City and recorded on David's Tascam 4-track. Of all the sonic experiments produced that day, "Ninja Chop," a mostly-written song by Ra was the keeper. In 2013, David enlisted producer Jeff Lipstein to help create 2 new versions of the song. David's version is featured in Morgan K. Nichols' 2013 feature film "How to Make Movies at Home." Ra's version was recorded in Sydney Australia where he now lives.
